Ingredients:
2 (1 1/2-pound) strip steaks, cut with pockets |
1 (12-ounce) container fresh select or standard oysters, drained |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |

Directions:
1. Stuff each pocket of steak with half the oysters; secure openings with wooden picks. Sprinkle each steak with salt and pepper. 2. Place steaks on rack in a broiler pan. Place pan 5 to 6 inches from heating element. Broil steaks 8 to 10 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. To serve, slice diagonally across the grain. Serve steaks with Maître d'hôtel Butter. |
