Ingredients:
6 slice(s) white bread, with crusts, torn into large pieces |
1/2 cup(s) grated romano cheese |
2 tablespoon(s) plus 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic |
2 tablespoon(s) chopped flat-leaf parsley |
1 teaspoon(s) dried oregano |
salt, to taste |
freshly ground black pepper, to taste |
Directions:
1. In bowl of food processor fitted with a metal blade, process bread until it is coarsely ground. 2. Add cheese, garlic, parsley and oregano and pulse mixture until bread crumbs are finely ground. Season bread crumbs to taste with salt and pepper and pulse mixture just to mix in seasonings. Use bread crumbs immediately or refrigerate them in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days. |
