Caribbean Tomato Juice Cocktail |

Quick to make and very refreshing on a hot day. This has been adapted from Rita G. Springer's 'Caribbean Cookbook'. I never add the sugar. Obviously, you could add a shot of vodka to make it rather more daring. Ingredients:
2 cups unsweetened tomato juice, chilled |
1/2 teaspoon celery salt |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce (or more) |
1 teaspoon lemon juice (or more) |
1/8 teaspoon white pepper |
1/2 teaspoon sugar (optional) |
2 -3 small celery ribs (optional) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients, except the celery ribs, in a jar that has a lid. 2. Cover and shake well. 3. Pour into glasses and add celery sticks as stirrers. |
