Store almonds in the freezer for up to a month. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
1 (9.75-oz.) container whole natural almonds (with skin, about 2 cups) |
2 teaspoons orange zest |
2 teaspoons caribbean jerk seasoning |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
wax paper |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°. Heat butter in an 8-inch cake pan in oven 3 to 4 minutes or until melted; stir in nuts, orange zest, seasoning, and salt. 2. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Arrange almonds in a single layer on wax paper, and let cool completely (about 40 minutes). Store in an airtight container. |
