I Had El Sobrante Girl's recipe for Pepperonicini and Shredded Beef (#117646) on the menu, but realized I didn't have the soup mixo or the au jus mix, so I decided to do an experiment. WOW! This was sooooo good in burritos - it will be something that I cook often! Ingredients:
3 lbs beef tri-tip steak |
10 ounces pepperoncini peppers (sliced, i used the yummy garlicy ones from trader joe's) |
12 ounces mexican beer |
1 red onion, diced |
Directions:
1. Put everything in a crockpot on low for 7 or 8 hours. 2. Seperate the meat into strips and enjoy with fresh tortillas! |
