This came from an old Farm Journal. Add a thin slice of lemon in a glass of this red punch. It's a punch with zip. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups boiling water |
2 tablespoons loose black tea |
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 pint cranberry juice cocktail |
1/2 cup orange juice |
1/3 cup lemon juice |
1 1/2 cups cold water |
Directions:
1. Pour rapidly boiling water over tea. 2. Add spices and cover to steep for 5-7 minutes. 3. Strain and stir in sugar. 4. Add juices and cold water. 5. Chill and serve. |
