This is rich, creamy and delicious, from Saveur magazine. Ingredients:
1 unbaked pie shell, deep dish |
4 tablespoons melted butter |
3 egg yolks |
2 cups buttermilk |
1 cup sour cream |
1 lemon, zest of |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3 tablespoons flour |
1 teaspoon cardamom |
1 cup sugar |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325°F. 2. Mix all ingredients together and pour into pie crust. 3. Bake for 60-75 minutes until set. 4. Cool on wire rack. |
