It's an unusual cookie from Denmark. I didn't get a chance to make it yet,so I'm estimating on servings. Ingredients:
1 cup soft butter |
1 cup sugar |
2 eggs |
2 tablespoons buttermilk |
1/4 teaspoon baking soda |
2 cups flour (sifted ) |
1 tablespoon caraway seed |
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar. 2. Add unbeaten eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. 3. Add buttermilk with soda and flour. 4. Add caraway seeds. 5. Chill for a few hours. 6. Roll out to 1/2-inch thickness and cut with a cookie cutter. 7. Sprinkle with sugar and bake 20 minutes in a preheated 350º oven. |
