This is very good, lots of good flavors and very impressive on the table. Enjoy Ingredients:
2 acorn squash |
1 teaspoon granulated sugar |
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted |
Directions:
1. Split squash lengthwise then scoop out seeds and place cut side up in shallow baking pan. 2. Add 1/4 water then sprinkle each half with sugars, nutmeg and salt then drizzle with butter. 3. Bake at 350 for 1 hour checking after 30 minutes. 4. If browning too rapidly cover loosely with aluminum foil until squash are tender. |
