Great with roast beef. Ingredients:
500 g golden shallots |
90 g butter |
1/4 cup water |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Peel and slightly trim the base of the shallots. 2. Melt butter in saucepan and add the shallots. 3. Cook over very low heat for about 20 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. 4. Stir in water and sugar over a low hear until sauce thickens and is syrupy. |
