Tasty topping for fish, chicken, steaks. I top my salmon with these and, mmmmm, it makes one delicious dish. Ingredients:
1 teaspoon olive oil |
1 -2 onion, finely sliced |
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (red-wine vinegar is okay) |
2 teaspoons brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Place in saucepan, put the lid on and cook over very low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring often. 2. Done when onions are soft and clear. |
