The bananas have to get in and out of pan in 11/2 mins.,so they stay firm in center.Delicious Ingredients:
2 med-small firm banans |
1/2tbs butter |
3tbs lt. brown sugar |
1/4c dark rum or orange juice |
1/8tsp ground cinnamon |
1c low fat vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt |
Directions:
1. Cut banans in half lengthwise. Melt butter in non-stick skillet over med-high heat. Add brown sugar and lay the banana slices on top,cut side up. 2. Cook undisturbed for 20 seconds,then add rum(or orange juice) and cinnamon. Cook for 10 seconds,turn banas carefully and cook 40 to 60 seconds more,basting with pan juices. 3. Divide banas between 2 dessert plates,drizzling the sauce on top. 4. Serve immediately with a scoop of ice cream(or frozen yogurt) |
