This is a family favorite I make quite often. Very yummy. Ingredients:
1 cup plus 1 tablespoon all purpose flour, divided |
1 cup quick-cooking oats |
3/4 cup packed brown sugar |
1/2 tsp baking soda |
1/4 tsp salt |
3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted |
1 cup (6 oz) semisweet chocolate chips |
1 jar (12-1/4 oz) caramel ice cream topping |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine 1 cup flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda and salt 2. Stir in butter, mix well 3. Press into a greased 13x9 baking pan 4. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until set 5. Sprinkle with chocolate chips 6. Combine caramel topping and remaining flour until blended 7. drizzle over chips 8. Sprinkle with nuts 9. Bake 20-22 minutes longer or until bubbly 10. Cool completely 11. cut into bars |
