From Vogue Cooking and Entertaining - an easy dessert! Ingredients:
1 teaspoon butter |
2 tangelos or 2 oranges, peeled and cut into quarters |
1/2 cup caster sugar |
1/2 lemon, juice of |
1 tablespoon cointreau liqueur (optional) |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in saucepan. 2. Add fruit pieces and caster sugar. 3. Stir until sugar dissolves. 4. Cook on medium-high until sugar caramelises. 5. Remove from heat as soon as browning process begins otherwise it can burn. 6. Sit in lemon juice and Cointreau. |
