Bet you can't eat just one! A shortbread type crust with a caramel topping. So easy! Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar, packed |
1 cup margarine |
4 egg yolks, beaten |
2 tsp. vanilla |
3 cups flour |
pinch of salt |
topping |
4 egg whites |
2 cups brown sugar, packed |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar and margarine until fluffy. 2. Add yolks and vanilla. Mix. 3. Add flour and salt and mix. 4. Press into a 9 x 13 pan 5. For topping, beat egg whites until stiff. 6. Fold in brown sugar. 7. Pour over base. 8. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. |
