Go for it after a heavy meal . Ingredients:
base |
3/4 c flour |
3/4 tbsp caster sugar |
50 g butter |
2 tsp water |
1 small egg |
filling |
200 g condensed milk |
10 g butter |
1 tbsp golden syrup or honey |
topping |
60 g dark baking chocolate |
20 g butter |
Directions:
1. Pre heat oven 210 deg 2. Grease a pan 3. For the base , with the hand or processor mix all the ing until it resembles breadcrumbs 4. Add the egg and the water . 5. Roll lightly on floured surface and cover with a wrap and chill until set . 6. Now press in the lined tin until all base covered . 7. Line it with baking paper , spread with some pulses and bake for 10 mins . 8. Remove the paper and the pulses and bake 10 more mins until lightly golden . 9. Reduce the oven to 180 deg . 10. Caramalise all the ing. over low heat until it melats , boils and thickens . 11. Spread over the base and bake for 10 mins . 12. Cool it . 13. For the topping , Double boil the chocolate and butter until melted . 14. Cool abit and spread over the filling . 15. Cool until set and cut into squares . |
