1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup dark corn syrup |
1 tablespoon butter or margarine |
pinch of salt |
1/4 cup evaporated milk |
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a heavy saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Remove from heat. 2. Stir in evaporated milk and vanilla. |
