Better than in a bag!..I want this insted of my usual cake for my birthday..it is that good..Nothing gets between me & my chocolate 'ceptin this stuff!! Ingredients:
12 cups popped corn(1/2c. unpopped)+1 c. mixed nuts(optional) |
keep warm in oven at 250 degrees |
1/2 c. butter |
1/2 c. corn syrup |
1/2 t. salt |
1 c. packed brown sugar |
1/2 t. baking soda |
1/2 t. vanilla (optional) |
Directions:
1. In heavy bottom pan melt butter until just golden. 2. Add Brown Sugar,Corn Syrup and salt.Heat to boiling. 3. Put lid on and let boil 5 mins WITHOUT stirring .. 4. Remove from heat..add Vanilla and Baking Soda. 5. Pour over popped corn and nuts(if added)..Stir well.. 6. Return to oven..and bake at 250 for 1 hour 7. Stir popcorn every 15 mins for this hour. 8. Store in TIGHTLY covered container.. 9. ENJOY..THIS IS A VERY FRIENDLY RECIPE..HANDLES ADJUSTMENTS OK.. |
