3 tbsps. butter |
4 tbsps. flour |
1 c. brown sugar |
2 egg yolks |
1 c. milk |
1 tsp. vanilla |
1 baked pastry shell |
Directions:
1. Cream butter, flour and sugar together. 2. Beat eggs, add milk and add to creamed mixture. 3. Cook in heavy pan until thickened, stirring constantly. 4. Cool about 10 minutes, add vanilla. 5. Pour into pastry shell and top with meringue. 6. Bake in 350 degree oven until meringue is brown. |
