Ingredients:
36 kraft caramels |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
1/4 cup water |
3 eggs, beaten |
1/4 cup margarine |
1 cup pecan halves |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 9 in. unbaked pastry shell |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Melt caramels with water & margarine in a saucepan over low heat. 2. Stir occasionally until smooth.Combine sugar,salt & eggs. 3. Gradually add caramel sauce;Mix well. 4. Stir in pecan halves & pour into pastry shell.Bake at 350 degree for 40 minutes.Pie filling will appear soft,but becomes firm as it cools. |
