From my Grandma Jewel's recipe box. Goes great on Fresh Apple Cake. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons evaporated milk |
1 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed |
confectioners' sugar |
Directions:
1. Put butter, salt, evaporated milk and brown sugar in small saucepan. 2. Heat gently just to melt butter. 3. Mix until sugar dissolves. 4. Add enough sifted confectioner's sugar to make it of the consistency to spread. 5. Spread on cake and enjoy. |
