This recipe goes with Blackberry Cake
Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
6 cups sifted powdered sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa
1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon strong coffee
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Cream butter. Combine sugar and cocoa; add to butter alternately with coffee and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Yield: enough for one 3-layer cake.
2. Note: 2 cups fresh blackberries plus 1/2 cup juice maybe substituted for canned berries.
