Very rich a little bit goes a long way! All my kids love these cookies. Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
1 cup quick oats |
3/4 cup brown sugar |
3/4 cup margarine |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon baking soda |
50 caramels, unwrapped |
5 tablespoons cream |
Directions:
1. Mix all crust ingredients together and spread 1/2 in bottom of 9 by 13 pan. 2. Bake 350 for 10 minutes. 3. Melt caramels with cream and pour over baked crust. 4. Sprinkle 6 oz semi sweet chocolate chips over caramel. 5. Crumble remaining crust mixture over all and bake 10-15 minutes. 6. Do not over bake! |
