These are very good, a change from rice krispie bars. Ingredients:
8 cups honey smacks cereal |
1 (14 ounce) package caramels |
1 3/4 cups dry roasted peanuts |
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk |
1 tablespoon butter |
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips, melted and cooled |
Directions:
1. In large bowl combine cereal and peanuts, set aside. 2. In large microwave safe bowl, combine the caramels, milk and butter. 3. Microwave uncovered on high1-2 min or untill caramels are mlted, stirring every 30 seconds. 4. Pour over cereal mixture, stir to coat. 5. With greased hands, pat mixture into a greased 15x10 pan. 6. Drizzle with choc chips. Let stand untill set. Cut into bars. |
