I think the title of this recipe is all you need!! Enjoy these wonderful treats! Ingredients:
14 oz. pkg. caramel candies |
1/3 cup milk |
2 cups flour |
2 cups quick-cooking or regular oats |
1 1/2 cup packed brown sugar |
1 t. soda |
1/2 t. salt |
1 egg |
1 cup margarine, softened |
6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chololate chips |
1 cup chopped walnuts or dry roasted peanuts |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350*. 2. Grease rectangular pan(13x9x2). 3. Heat candies and milk in a 2 qt. saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently until smooth; remove from heat. 4. Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda, salt and egg in a large bowl. 5. Stir in margarine with fork until mixture is crumbly. 6. Press half of the crumbly mixture in pan. 7. Bake for 10 min. 8. Take out of the oven. 9. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and walnuts;drizzle with caramel mixture. 10. Sprinkle remaining crumbly mixture over top. 11. Bake until golden brown, 20-25 min. 12. Cool for 30 min. 13. Loosen edges from sides of pan, cool completely.( you may want to loosen your waistband on your pants too)+)) 14. Cut into bars about 2 x1 . |
