The original recipe is from Kraft foods; however, it didn’t convince me. I made some changes and the taste was really great and rich. Ingredients:
crust |
1 cup sweet biscuit crumbs |
70g butter, melted |
1/3 cup chopped hazelnuts. |
500g cream cheese, cubed and softened |
2/3 cups white sugar |
3 eggs |
1 cup cream |
1tbsp lemon juice |
3 bananas, sliced thinly lengthways. |
2 tablespoons brown sugar, extra |
topping |
1/4 cup caramel sauce |
3 bananas sliced for topping |
Directions:
1. Combine biscuit crumbs butter and nuts then press into the base of a greased 22cm spring form pan; chill. 2. Beat cream cheese and sugar using an electric mixer until smooth. Add the eggs, cream and lemon juice and continue beating until well combined and smooth. Pour half the mixture into the prepared base. Add banana slices, top with remaining mixture and sprinkle top with extra brown sugar. 3. Bake at 300 F in the lower half of the oven for 55 minutes. Cool completely in oven with door ajar. Chill before serving, then serve garnished with extra sliced banana and caramel 4. sauce. |
