This interesting drink comes from 2004 cookbook, Faw Foods for Busy People.
Ingredients:
1 apple, cored, chopped
1 cup apple juice
3 tablespoons almond butter
3 dates, pitted (preferably medjool)
1 dash ground cinnamon
1 dash ground nutmeg
1 banana, ripe (optional)
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in the bowl of a blender & process until smooth.
2. Pour into a tall glass & ENJOY!
