Great for those church get-togethers! Great time of the year for an apple salad. Enjoy! Prep time does not include chill time. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon flour |
1/3 cup sugar |
1 egg |
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar |
1 can (8oz. size)crushed pineapple - drained, but reserve juice |
4 red delicious apples (or granny smith) unpeeled, cored and chopped. (use both if ya want) |
1 cup salted peanuts |
1 container (8z. size) cool-whip or store brand |
Directions:
1. Mix flour & sugar 2. Beat in egg and add to the flour & sugar. Mix well 3. Add vinegar and pineapple juice. 4. Cook in small pan over low heat stirring until thick. 5. Cool completeley 6. Meanwhile, combine apples, pineapple & peanuts. 7. Pour cooled dressing over all. 8. Fold in cool-whip. 9. Chill well and enjoy! 10. ************************************************ 11.
