this is a great appetizer, it's a little sweet for my taste, but when ever I serve it my friends all want the recipe. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of butter |
1l2 cup chopped and peeled gala or granney apples |
1l4 cuo sweentened dried cranberries |
1 tablespoons of chopped pecans |
2tablespoons of brandy or apple juice |
1/4 cup of packed brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Oven 350 degrees 2. melt butter and add apples, cranberries, sugar, pecans and brandy 3. Cook for 3 minutes, stirring til sugar desolves 4. cut brie in half 5. place bottom half in ungreased 9 inch pie pan 6. spoon 1/2 topping over cheese. 7. place the other 1/2 cheese on top,secure with toothpicks, and pour remaining sauce on top 8. bake 15 to 20 minutes 9. serve with warm baquettes |
