Ingredients:
4 cups coarsely chopped carambola (about 1 pound) |
1/3 cup sugar |
3/4 cup club soda, chilled |
2 (1/4-inch-thick) slices carambola (optional) |
Directions:
1. Combine carambola and sugar in food processor, and process 1 minute or until smooth. Strain mixture through a sieve into a bowl, reserving 1 1/4 cups juice; cover and chill. Discard solids. 2. Add club soda to carambola juice; stir gently. Pour over ice. Garnish with carambola slices, if desired. Serve immediately. |
