ONLY FOR SUMMER! Do not even bother trying to make this with anything but fresh homegrown or farm tomatoes. Same goes for fresh ball mozz. and fresh basil. Serve with shrimp cocktail, and some meat and cheese from the salad bar or deli for a complete cool, no cook, summer meal. Ingredients:
sliced tomatoes, amt. needed per serving |
fresh ball mozzarella, amt. needed per serving |
sliced fresh bread, any type, amt. needed per serving |
fresh basil, chopped, julienne, enough to lightly cover cheese/mozz. |
s&p, i prefer crazy jane’s seasoned salt instead of s&p |

Directions:
1. Slice tomatoes and mozz.. Slice bread. 2. Arrange on platter. Drizzle EVOO over top of tomatoes/cheese 3. Place on platter sprinkle w/ S&P 4. Sprinkle chopped/julienne basil over tomatoes/cheese 5. Serve with bread slices |
