12 oz plain flour |
11 oz caster sugar |
1 1/2 tsp baking powder |
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon |
1/2 tsp salt |
8 oz whole almonds |
4 oz ground almonds |
3 medium eggs |
2 tsp vanilla |
Directions:
1. mix all ingredients to a soft dough 2. roll into sausage shapes 1 round 3. bake 180c till golden 4. remove from oven and cool slightly 5. while still warm slice at an angle with a serrated knife about 1cm thick 6. replace on tray and bake again until crisp and golden 7. cool on wire rack 8. when cool store in air tight container |
