This recipe will please any crowd and it less work than most of the layered dips. Make the day before if you wish or a hour before serving. You can also add whatever toppings suit you, these are my personal choices. Ingredients:
250 g cream cheese, room temperature until softened |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1 cup salsa |
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded |
3 green onions, chopped |
1 large tomato, seeded and chopped |
cilantro (optional) |
jalapeno (optional) |
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese and mayonnaise. 2. and mix with an electric hand mixer until smooth. 3. Spread cream cheese and mayo mix onto a large platter or a 11 x 8 dish. 4. Spread salsa on top of cream cheese mix. 5. Sprinkle cheese on salsa. 6. Top with the rest of toppings or your other favorite toppings. 7. Refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hours. 8. Serve with tortilla chips or whatever floats your boat! |
