If my aunt shows up at a family gathering and does not have these in tow, there is always an uprising :) These brownies are so filling and great in every way. Ingredients:
1 cup butter, melted |
2 cups sugar |
4 eggs |
1/2 cup cocoa powder |
2 cups flour |
nuts (optional) |
6 tablespoons milk |
3 tablespoons cocoa |
1/2 cup butter |
1 lb powdered sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and eggs. Add cocoa, flour, and nuts. Spread in a large cookie sheet. Bake for 30 minutes. 2. In saucepan, bring milk, cocoa, and butter to a boil until mix thickens. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. 3. Spread on brownies and sprinkle with nuts. |
