Cannellini, Sausage, and Sage Stew |

Ingredients:
2 (3 1/2-ounce) links turkey italian sausage |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
2 cups chopped, seeded plum tomato |
1 to 2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage |
1 teaspoon dried thyme |
1 teaspoon fennel seeds, crushed |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
1 (16-ounce) can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained |
1 (15.75-ounce) can fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth |
Directions:
1. Remove casings from sausage. Cook sausage and garlic in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until browned, stirring to crumble. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; lower heat, cover, and simmer 5 minutes. |
