My husband came home from work one night with this idea...it didn't matter what I had already prepared for dinner, he had to try this idea. I thought...GROSS...but I endulged him and well it wasn't too horrible. I am guessing at the measurements, but I think I'm close. Let me know if you think this is Recipezaar worthy! Ingredients:
2 (5 ounce) cans tuna, in water, drained |
1/4 cup egg substitute |
1/2 cup potato chip, light pringles crushed |
2 tablespoons miracle whip, fat free |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
cooking spray |
Directions:
1. Mix together the first six ingredients. Shape into small patties, like crab cakes. It will be a wetter mixture than you expect. 2. Heat a skillet over medium high heat with cooking spray. 3. Brown tuna cakes on each side for 1-2 minutes, or until brown. 4. Serve with some mayonnaise (or like my hubby prefers Miracle Whip) and dill pickles. |
