This fiber filled treat is a favorite of The Biggest Loser constant Tiffany Hernandez. I found this recipe in Prevention magazine. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. Ingredients:
20 raw almonds |
zero calorie butter-flavored cooking spray or cooking spray |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon splenda sugar substitute (1 packet) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Spread almonds in single layer on nonstick baking sheet and roast 7-10 minutes. 3. Transfer to small bowl and spritz several times with butter spray. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar substitute and toss until well coated. 4. Cool 5 minutes. |
