This recipe is one I got from a magazine but thought it would be perfect for kids parties and events. Nothing ties kids together like having sameness and this achieves that plus is fun to make and eat. This recipe is for one necklace so times it by how many kids you will have. Experiment with the candy colors and flavors for necklaces that suit you and your event. Enjoy! ChefDLH Ingredients:
1/3 cup cheerios toasted oat cereal or 1/3 cup fruit loops cereal |
1 roll candy life-savers five flavor candies or 1 gummi savers five flavor candy |
1/4 cup bite size licorice |
1/4 cup multi colored miniature marshmallow |
1 piece licorice (thin red licorice lace about 36-inch long) |
Directions:
1. String items on licorice lace in desired pattern.
2. when licorice lace is 3/4 full tie ends in a knot.
3. wear and eat and enjoy.
4. **(to keep for later save in a plastic bag)**.
