A wonderful, simple dessert. Take to a party, a potluck, etc. Ingredients:
1 (8 inch) baked pie crusts or 1 (8 inch) graham cracker crust |
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature |
1 (15 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring |
1/3 cup lemon juice |
1/2 cup crushed peppermint candy cane, divided |
Directions:
1. In bowel whip cream cheese until fluffy. 2. Slowly add sweetened condensed milk, while continuing to whip until well blended. 3. Add vanilla flavoring. 4. Add lemon juice, blending well. 5. Stir in 1/4 cup of crushed candy. 6. Chill for 2-4 hours until set. 7. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup of crushed candy cane evenly over top. |
