Wonderful brownies that use a cake mix and rolo candies and heath bar bits. What a combo, made in heaven!!! Ingredients:
18 1/4 ounces devil's food cake mix |
1/2 cup melted butter |
1/3 cup milk |
2 eggs |
35 rolo chocolates, unwrapped |
1 cup semisweet chocolate morsel |
1 cup heath chocolate-covered toffee bits |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Spray 13 x 9 pan with cooking spray or grease it. 3. In a large bowl combine the cake mix, melted butter, milk and eggs. 4. Stir with a wooden spoon until well blended. 5. Press half of mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. 6. Bake for 6 minutes. 7. Remove from oven and sprinkle with heath bar bits and semisweet morsels. 8. Press rolo candies into batter 5 across and 7 down. 9. Do not press all the way down to the bottom. 10. Crumble remaining dough over the candy layer. 11. Bake for 25 minutes more. 12. Cool before cutting. |
