1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs |
3 tablespoons sugar |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/3 cup melted butter |
3/4 cup caramel ice cream topping |
1 cup pecans, chopped |
5 granny smith apples, peeled cored,sliced thin |
5 tablespoons butter |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
8 ounces cream cheese |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 egg |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1/4 cup sugar |
3/4 cup heavy cream, whipped |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1/2 cup caramel topping |
1/4 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. CRUST:Mix first 4 ingredients and press into a 10 inch pie pan up sides also. 2. Bake 375° for 6-8 minutes or golden. 3. Remove and cool. 4. Pour caramel in bottom of crust and sprinkle with pecans,chill. 5. FILLING:In a large skillet melt butter add brown sugar,salt,cinnamon add apples cook for 15-20 minutes or until tender cool 10 minutes pour into pie shel. 6. TOPPING:With a mixer beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth add egg,lemon juice,and vanilla pour over apple filling. 7. Bake 30 minutes until knife comes out clean. 8. let cool and chill 4 hours then room temp. 9. 30 minutes. 10. TOPPING:Top with whipped cream caramel and pecans and swirl with a knife. 11. Slice and serve. |
