This is the easiest and most delicious Candied Yams recipe I have ever found. It's a must at our holiday table. Ingredients:
32 ounces yams, drained |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup dark corn syrup |
1/4 cup margarine |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Arange yams in a single layer in a baking pan. 3. Combine all remaining ingredients in a saucepot. 4. Heat to a boil. 5. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for 5-10 minutes. 6. Pour over the yams. 7. Bake for 20 minutes basting often. |
