6 lbs sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch slices |
3 cups sugar (insane, i know) |
1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces |
3 tablespoons vanilla extract |
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Place 1 tablespoon water and all ingredients in a 6-quart Dutch oven. 2. Bring to a boil over high heat; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 25 minutes or until potatoes are tender and glazed, stirring occasionally. |
