For low-fat Christmas Dinner. Amounts and time are guesses. Ingredients:
3 medium yams, peeled and sliced lengthwise |
1/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed |
1 1/2 tablespoons orange juice, fresh squeezed |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Make a mixture of orange juice, brown sugar and cinnamon. 2. Place sliced yams in a casserole dish. 3. Drizzle mixture over yams. 4. Bake until heated through in a 350* oven, 30-45 minutes. |
