This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Jarvis Estate in Frisco, Texas in 2007. Ingredients:
10 cups thinly cubed pumpkin |
2 cups granulated sugar |
6 slices bacon |
Directions:
1. Place pumpkin in a large casserole dish then cover with sugar and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. 2. Stir pumpkin well and place bacon on top. 3. Bacon until liquid is syrupy. |
