When you want an easy sweet and salty snack. Got this from a friend. Ingredients:
1 (10 1/2 ounce) bag fritos corn chips |
1 cup granulated sugar |
1 cup white corn syrup |
1 cup creamy peanut butter |
Directions:
1. Lightly grease a cookie sheet with shortening or butter. 2. Crush Fritos into small pieces using a ziploc bag and a rolling pin. 3. Spread evenly onto greased cookie sheet. 4. In a medium saucepan, bring sugar and syrup to a boil then boil for 2 minutes stirring constantly. 5. Remove from heat and add peanut butter; stir until dissolved. 6. Pour over crushed Fritos. 7. Cool in refrigerator; break into pieces and enjoy. |
