1 to 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup raisins, chopped
3/4 cup candied cherries, chopped
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine the flour, cinnamon and baking soda; gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in the pecans, raisins and cherries.
2. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool. Yield: about 3-1/2 dozen.
