This is an old recipe from my mom. She used to make this when I was growing up except she used to bake it in the oven instead of the microwave. Ingredients:
2 pkgs baby carrots |
1/3 cup white sugar |
1/3 cup brown sugar |
2 tbsp cornstarch |
1 can frozen orange juice |
2 tbsp melted butter |
pinch salt |
Directions:
1. cook carrots for 15 minutes in the microwave until tender but not mushy. 2. Mix remaining ingredients and pour glaze over carrots. Place glazed carrots back in microwave for about 2-3 minutes. 3. Serve immediately. |
