I created this meatloaf after DH informed me he wasn't a meatloaf fan. The whole family really likes this recipe. It freezes well - freeze uncooked. We think it has the perfect blend of flavors and I like the leftovers for lunch the next day. If there are leftovers. :) Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef |
0.5 (1 ounce) package onion soup mix |
1 cup quick oats |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese |
1 egg |
1/4 cup milk |
1/2 tablespoon dried parsley |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1/8 teaspoon garlic salt |
1 cup shredded carrot |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients well. 2. Place in greased loaf pan. 3. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2-2 hours or until the center is not pink. |
