A yummy tea using cranberries, lemon and orange juice. A great way to perk up those cold Canadian nights! Ingredients:
2 cups fresh cranberries (or frozen) |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 lemon, juice of |
1 cup orange juice |
1 cup sugar |
6 cups boiling water |
Directions:
1. Combine the cranberries, cinnamon, lemon juice, orange juice and sugar in a large saucepan and pour on the rapidly boiling water. Stir well and let the mixture steep for 10 minutes. Strain and serve hot, or chill and serve cold over ice. |
